On My WishList (#11)

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click here.

Since I haven''t bought a single book in over a month (I've been a good girl trying to save some money cause I've bought books like crazy the first half year). So, I have many books I would like to get! There are always books I'd like to get! Here are some of them ...

Betrayed (House of Night #2) by P.C. and Kristin Cast

(Goodreads)

Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has managed to settle in at the House of Night.  She's come to terms with the vast powers the vampyre goddess, Nyx, has given her, and is getting a handle on being the new Leader of the Dark Daughters. Best of all, Zoey finally feels like she belongs--like she really fits in. She actually has a boyfriend…or two. Then the unthinkable happens: Human teenagers are being killed, and all the evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey's old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves. Then, when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes the House of Night, and Zoey must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart, her soul, and jeopardize the very fabric of her world.

Random Thoughts

I read the first book of House of Night "Marked" and I fell in love with it. Still thinking about the series and I look forward to read the rest!

Crescendo (Hush, Hush #2) by Becca Fitzpatrick

(Goodreads)

Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar.

Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadn't been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something.

Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperately searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts.

Random Thoughts

I've been reading some fantasy this summer but it feels like I'm way behind in all series. Most bloggers has read the whole series or waiting for the last book in the series. But hey better late than never and looking at the bright side, I don't have to wait that long for each book:)

Wicked (Pretty Little Liars #5)

(Goodreads)

In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . .
Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men.

Now that Ali's killer is finally behind bars, the girls think they're safe. But those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. And they should know by now that I'm always watching. . . .

Random Thoughts

I'm almost done with Unbelievable (#4) in the series and almost done with it. I bought the books 1-4 at the same time in case I liked the series - which I does. And when I'm done with book #3 I'm sure I want to read the rest of the series as well! This series is kind of cruel which I love!
